Stylish and atmospheric: The former sheepfold with its walls made of hand-hewn sandstone and the beautifully preserved old roof truss offers a unique, elegant, rustic flair for large and small groups alike and an extraordinary amount of space. A modern lighting concept provides a unique atmosphere for every event. Up to 350 people feel comfortable here, but for smaller groups, the recently lovingly renovated rooms can also be separated and reduced to almost any size.

In the middle of the beautiful, flower-overgrown island, our wooden pavilion offers a wonderful view of the lake and the grounds. The island pavilion is a place that can be used for an atmospheric reception as well as for a festive wedding ceremony. Let yourself be enchanted by the blossoms swaying gently in the wind and the wonderful view of Unterbessenbach Castle. Here you will also find the perfect surrounding for all kinds of photo shoots.

Especially for larger events, our 2,700 m² inner courtyard can also be integrated into your event concept. Whether solemnly staged presentations or elaborate shows - the historic manor walls offer enough space for extravagant ideas and unusual projects. By the way: Even in bad weather, your event will never fall through: There is the 375 m² roof of the wagon hall, where up to 150 people can find a dry shelter in case of heavy rains.

Small but beautiful: The historic hunting parlor with its cozy tiled stove and magnificent trophy collection is not only a wonderful place for aristocratic photo sessions. But also children's playrooms, artist's wardrobes or changing rooms. Smaller workshops and presentations for up to 15 people are also perfectly accommodated here.

The late baroque palace chapel "Vom Guten Hirten" is one of Unterbessenbach's special gems. Then as now, the chapel built in 1752 is a lively meeting place. The Protestant parish still celebrates a service here every other Sunday. With up to 120 guests, you can experience an unforgettable wedding ceremony here.

With space for up to 50 guests, Schloss Saloon, which was only renovated in 2019, is the "jewel" of our estate. Dine where King Ludwig I of Bavaria and his wife Therese were happy and frequent guests with their court and preferred to be fed with freshly caught trout from the castle pond. When renovating, it was particularly important to us to create maximum comfort combined with a healthy living environment. That is why only natural materials were used - mainly wood and natural stone. The special highlight here is the lovingly restored castle kitchen based on the old, historical model. A wood-burning oven that not only creates cozy warmth, but also offers various special features: pizza oven, smoking oven and a water ship. The perfect place for cooking events with a show-kitchen, but also for exclusive dinner events.
